We going to do an exercise today – getting you to name and rate your gifts. Write down these five areas: your looks, your brains, your physical ability, your ability to connect with others (or your social ability) and your “it” factor, your charisma. Now you can have one of these, you can have all of these; or you can have a combination of them. Next I want you to write down a few details next to each one.
You are going to give yourself a score on a scale that you determine, on your natural abilities in each of these areas – that could be ‘very strong’, to ‘average’ to ‘needs improvement’, or it could be a one to ten or a one to five scale. These is not an exact tool, this is a concept that we’re putting together here so you can understand what we’re talking about. Your looks, your brains, your physical abilities, your ability to connect with others and your charisma. Be honest, and this will help you determine what area you should be in.
